COVID-19 Safety Protocols (updated: March 7, 2022)

The following COVID-19 Safety Protocols were updated as of March 7, 2022.  All guidance follows NC DHHS

Worship:

At 9:00 a.m., we will begin assembly singing. Masks will continue to be required in accordance with our priority to curate a safer space for those who might desire it, particularly those who do not have access to the vaccine (<5 years old).

At 11:00 a.m., masks will no longer be required. Anyone is welcome to wear a mask at any time. Please note that N95 and KN95 masks are designed to protect the wearer, and we have a substantial supply of N95 masks available for your use here at the Good Shepherd.

Faith Formation activities (Sunday mornings at 10 a.m. & at other times):

Adult classes can make their own decisions about masking, but it is not required.

Classes involving children 5-18 will follow the current Wake County Public School System masking policy. Beginning March 13, masks are recommended but not required.

Classes involving children <5 will follow the current Good Shepherd Lutheran Preschool masking policy. Currently, masks are optional.

Weekdays in the building:

During weekdays, our church building will follow a mask optional policy.

Lenten Midweek Worship:

We ask that you wear masks to midweek Lenten worship, since there may be families attending who prefer to engage only in safer options.
