All are invited to join the Book Study group in October to read and discuss Silence: A Novel by Shusaku Endo and William Johnston. Shusaku Endo is considered one of the best twentieth-century Japanese fiction writers, and in Silence he writes about two Portuguese Jesuit priests whose faith is tested during their missionary work in 17th century feudal Japan. Pastor Tim Brown will be facilitating the discussions on Thursday, October 12 and October 19 at 10:00 am in Underwood West, and refreshments will be served.
