Good Shepherd Lutheran Preschool strives to uphold the highest standards in early childhood education by employing teachers with degrees in early childhood, child development, or elementary education whenever possible. These guidelines are adhered to specifically in teachers of three, four, and five year old classes. All of our teachers are here to teach, nurture and care for our students in a loving way, guided by Christian values. 

Holly Kubovcik - Preschool director



Holly has been a member of GSLC for over 20 years and has been working at the preschool since 2018. She stepped into the role of Director in December of 2025.

Erin grew up in Charlotte and moved to Raleigh to attend Peace College. She and her husband have three daughters that keep them busy! When she is not spending time with family or watching her kids play sports, Erin enjoys cooking and entertaining.

BA in Studio Art from Meredith College

M.Ed in Counseling from North Carolina State University. I was born in Chicago, IL, but moved 16 times by the time I was 18 and have lived in NC for my entire adult life; it is home! Hobbies: visual arts, knitting, and reading.


Driska MCCULLOUGH - 3'S TEACHER



Spent working life teaching daycare and Montessori. I also taught and coached swim lessons. I moved to Raleigh to be with my daughter and grandkids who have both attended GSLP. I am now teaching and enjoying the little ones at GLSP.

Molly Perrou - 1's & 2's ASSISTANT


Molly has been with the preschool since 2019 in a variety of roles. When she is not working, she is kept busy with her own four children.

LINDSAY BRAME- 1'S TEACHER


This is Lindsay's first year at our preschool, but comes to us with lots of experience with toddlers and young children

KIM RIDGE- 1'S & 2'S ASSISTANT


This is Kim's second year as an assistant. When not here caring for our youngest little sheep, Kim is a graphic designer and has her own brand, Squirrel Cut Designs

SHARI ALLMAN- 3'S ASSISTANT


Education: Attended FTCC and Methodist University in Fayetteville, NC for both commercial/fine arts and psychology

Preschool: 28 years of experience as both a lead teacher and an assistant

Interests: Has 3 dogs and is involved with dog rescues locally, enjoys games and puzzles, music and literature

JOY STROUD- MUSIC & MOVEMENT


Joy has been the children's choir director at Good Shepherd for over 10 years, and is in her third year working with our preschool children

REBECCA PUTNAM- 4'S TEACHER


Rebecca has worked in various roles here at the preschool for the past 9 years and currently co teaches with Ms. Arleen, working with her 4's class each Wednesday

ELIZABETH LINDSAY- SPANISH TEACHER


Elizabeth works with all the 3's and 4's classes on a weekly basis to learn the basics of Spanish
