Good Shepherd Lutheran Preschool strives to uphold the highest standards in early childhood education by employing teachers with degrees in early childhood, child development, or elementary education whenever possible. These guidelines are adhered to specifically in teachers of three, four, and five year old classes. All of our teachers are here to teach, nurture and care for our students in a loving way, guided by Christian values.

My education is in psychology and art.  I was a stay at home mom for many years and volunteered in the community.  I worked in preschool for 23 years and in public school.  In my spare time, I enjoy my grandsons, walking, playing with my dogs, listening to music and attending concerts. I enjoy teaching and learning with preschool aged children. Every moment is a teachable moment!

I am very excited to be returning to Good Shepherd. Some of you may know me from your older children that have attended our preschool. A little about me. I am originally from Connecticut but have now lived in Raleigh longer so truly feel this is home. My husband and I have four kids/adults ages 22,19,16 and 12. Three sons and one daughter. We also have two rescue dogs which are the best breed in my opinion. You can find me watching my youngest son’s baseball games, at beach, movies or browsing thrift or antique shops when I’m not carpooling of course. Love spending time with family and friends. My goal for our school year together is to instill a love for learning, meeting friends and lots of fun!
