Music in Worship! Sing for Joy!

God has given us the gift of music, and it helps us become one in identity and purpose as Christians worshiping the Lord. Our choir members and musicians provide song leadership in our services. All are welcome to participate in Good Shepherd’s musical groups, regardless of talent level. The only requirement is a heart to learn and serve.

SANCTUARY CHOIR: Our traditional robed choir rehearses on Wednesday evenings from 7:15 to 8:45 in the Choir Room, and sings regularly at the 10:45 am worship service.

SHEPHERD SONG: This band of singers and instrumentalists leads the 8:15 am worship service twice a month. Rehearsals are at 7:30 am on the Sundays they lead.

GENTLE SHEPHERD CHOIR: For those who enjoy singing and like to rehearse during the day, Gentle Shepherd rehearses Tuesdays from 1:00 to 2:15 pm in the Choir Room and sings once a month at the 10:45 am worship service.

CELEBRATION RINGERS: Good Shepherd’s handbell choir is filled with talented ringers and seeking more! Rehearsals are Monday evenings from 7:30 to 9:00 in the Sanctuary. Celebration Ringers offers anthem selections once a month and for special events.

HEARTSONG: HeartSong is Good Shepherd’s High School Youth Choir, for all students in grades 9-12! We rehearse in the Choir Room on Wednesdays, 6:00-7:00 pm.

EVERBLEST: EverBlest is Good Shepherd's Middle School Youth Choir, for all students in grades 6-8. We rehearse in the Choir Room on Tuesdays, 6:00-7:00 pm.

SHEPHERD'S CHOIR: Good Shepherd’s older elementary children’s choir works with 3rd-5th graders on music reading, part singing, and vocal technique using some fun songs. Rehearsals are Wednesdays from 6:00 to 7:00 pm in Underwood West.

PRAISE GANG: Good Shepherd’s beginning choir for four year olds through 2nd graders focuses on growing a child’s love of music through singing and rhythm games. All reading levels are encouraged to join. Rehearsals are Wednesday evenings from 6:10 to 6:45 pm in Underwood North.

Soloists and instrumentalists are always welcome to prepare and play in worship.
