What’s unique about our Preschool? We provide:
- a 4-hour program for ages two through Transitional Kindergarten
- a 3-hour program for one-year olds
- a program that has been accredited by the Evangelical Lutheran Education Association (ELEA)
- daily Music & Movement class
- a Christ-centered, nurturing environment with Pastor-led Chapel held weekly
- a structured learning curriculum, the Core Knowledge Preschool Sequence, which is based on the premise that children are always ready to learn
- an intimate children to teacher ratio that ranges between 6:1 (1’s & 2’s) and 10:1 (4’s & 5’s)
- a ‘carpool’ pick-up for our children’s safety and our parent’s convenience
- an active parent group that provides staff support and fellowship opportunities

Good Shepherd Lutheran Preschool, which is a ministry outreach program of Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, provides a first-school experience that nurtures in each child, including those with special needs, a love for God, a love for learning and a love for one another. We provide a Christian oriented preschool program open to all children ages 1 yr. through 5 years. The Preschool is certified by the Evangelical Lutheran Education Association. The focus of the preschool is to meet children’s needs and stimulate learning in the following developmental areas:
- Physical
- Emotional / Social
- Spiritual
- Music/ Art
To nurture these areas the Preschool’s objectives are:
- To provide age appropriate, comprehensive developmental activities.
- Teach children about their relationships with God and all people in the world.
- Integrate Christian Education into possible subject areas.
