As members of Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, we embrace a culture of stewardship. We recognize that all we have, our time, talents, and possessions, are gifts from God. We also know that we are called to be God’s body on earth to help our brothers and sisters with a portion of all that we have been given. The following information is intended to make your contribution process as convenient as possible.
The following is a list of contribution methods. Further details about each of these are provided below:
- Immediate and Secure Online Giving
- Electronic banking (bill payment feature)
- Contributions of stock or mutual fund shares
Immediate and Secure Online Giving
You can use our online giving page to make an immediate and secure gift to the church. You may also designate the gift using this online form. To make a gift in honor/memory of someone, please include a note in the memo line of your donation.

Today many households use electronic banking services to save time and reduce the cost of postage and envelopes. If this is a convenient process for you, please use the information below to make your contributions:
Good Shepherd Lutheran Church
7000 Creedmoor Road
Raleigh, NC 27613
Account number: Please indicate how you wish your contribution to be used (i.e. General fund, Building fund, etc.). The church’s General Fund is the default election if specific instructions are not received.
Members of Good Shepherd will be mailed offering envelopes on a quarterly basis. If you choose to use one of the electronic contribution methods, we will stop mailing envelopes to you. This will reduce waste and church expenses. Questions about envelopes should be directed to the church office, 919-848-1573.
Contributions of Stock or Mutual Fund Shares
Some households find that it is easy and tax-efficient to make donations of appreciated securities (securities held for more than one year). Good Shepherd is happy to accommodate these contributions. Since the bank is unable to identify a securities’ donor, please send Peyton Cline your name, name of the security, number of shares and how you wish your contribution to be used (i.e. General fund, Building fund, etc.). The church’s General Fund is the default election if specific instructions are not received.
