Senior Adult Ministry (SAM)
SAM was formed to help seniors within the church community with services to support and enhance their lives. This ministry encourages Christian fellowship, leading to individual and group service to meet the changing needs of senior adults in our community.
Coordinated by the SAM team, trained volunteers will, on a regular or substitute basis, bring communion to church members who are shut-ins and cannot regularly attend church. This is offered to them in addition to pastoral visits.
Brunch & Learn
Brunch & Learns are held several times during the year on Saturdays. A guest from the church or outside community speaks on a specific informational topic with light brunch items served at the event. This event is open to anyone in the church or community.
The SAM ministry sponsors three food drives during the year to support Urban Ministries of Wake County.
