Mid-Week Holy Communion
Each Thursday morning, 7:00-7:20am in the Good Shepherd Sanctuary you are invited to receive Christ through the bread and wine of the Eucharist. This meditative worship always includes a reading of the Gospel for the upcoming Sunday. Time is given for silent reflection on the reading and for intercessory prayer Come be part of this intimate beginning of each Thursday. Enter the church through the main Narthex entrance doors.
Center for Volunteer Caregiving
The Center for Volunteer Caregiving is a private, nonprofit, interfaith organization whose mission is to provide volunteer support to elderly and disabled adults of Wake County to help maintain dignity, independence, and quality of life. We recruit, train, and support volunteers from the faith community and the community at large, matching them with elderly and disabled adults. There are no fees for our services.
